Pinellas Animal Hospital opened its doors in 1973. The new modern facility was built in 2004 to help us provide better comprehensive medical and surgical care for our patients.
Pinellas Animal Hospital offers you and your pet complete healthcare including surgical and intensive care, a complete laboratory, in house pharmacy, ultrasound and radiology. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures can be handled within the hospital. We also offer modern boarding for most small animals including dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets. Visit our 'Virtual Tour' for a behind the scenes look of the clinic at work.
Register you and your pet to the website to gain access to "Client Only" features including comprehensive pet health articles, "how-to" video clips, educational presentations, and to post photos of your pets. Also visit the Pet Information page for links to more articles and videos.

National Homeless Animal Day
August 21st is National Homeless Animal Day in the United States, but every day is homeless animal day for millions of cats and dogs throughout the world. Last year about 17 million dogs and cats were turned over to animal shelters. One out of every 10 that were taken in found a home. For that rest, 13.5 million animals had to be put down.
Avoiding unwanted litters is a great way to put an end to homeless animals. By helping to keep the pet population in check, you increase the chances of adoption for already homeless animals. Homeless Animal Day is a perfect excuse to have your pet spayed or neutered. Call PAH (727-546-0005) for details on spay/neuter procedures.
You can help by "celebrating" Homeless Animal Day when you adopt a new dog or cat! PAH is fostering several animals that are listed on our Petfinder page. Click on the image below to see our loveable adoption pets.
The 20th Annual 3K Pet Walk is a fun, 1.8 mile walk through the streets and along the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg to benefit the SPCA Tampa Bay. Come out and walk for the cause to end animal cruelty and help raise money to find new loving homes for abused and unwanted animals in our community. Look for PAH staff members and their dogs to participate for this good cause.
